Betti Ono is pleased to present Unearthed, Unveiled a satellite exhibition in
partnership with Pro Arts Gallery and East Bay Open Studios featuring new mixed media
work by Jamie Tracey and Nicole Dixon.

Unearthed, Unveiled is a culmination of nearly a decade of artistic conversation between the
two artists. Tracey- working with abstract imagery and Dixon- largely figurative, have found
common ground in their desire to unearth and unveil a life force through their artwork. This
work demonstrates that the art object is more than just a tool for documentation or
expression, but also a tool to connect the viewer with a spiritual state. Unearthed, Unveiled
will be on view June 5 – June 28, 2014 at Betti Ono in downtown Oakland. The opening
reception will be held on First Friday, June 6, 6- 9 pm.

Presented as a Satellite Exhibition in partnership with Pro Arts and East Bay Open Studios
2014. East Bay Open Studios is an annual event occurring the first two weekends in June.
This year, June 7-8 & 14-15, 11am-6pm, over 400 artists open their studios to the public
creating an awesome opportunity to meet artists, discover new neighborhoods and purchase
affordable art. Part of a suite of special events to highlight Open Studios,Satellite Exhibitions
