East Bay Open Studios 2014Family Workshop with Nicole DixonSaturday, June 14th from 2-4pm. $10 children (4-17)$30 (family of four or more) Register online here              In conjunction with the exhibition, 'Unearthed, Unveiled' Betti Ono is pleased to present the family workshop Embellishing the Figure, Making Symbolic Collages' led by featured artist Nicole Dixon on Saturday, June 14th from 2-4pm.Nicole will facilitate a collage-making workshop for families and children of all ages.  She will share her materials and techniques, and assist families in making personalized symbolic collages to take home. Some of the workshop strategies include: using symbols for personal narratives, creating a balanced composition, and layering mixed-media.  Participants will be provided with figurative images, and a variety of mixed-media to embellish their work.  The structure of the workshop is open, to allow participants to drop in and work as long as they like.Fun for the whole family! All materials and supplies are included with workshop fee. This workshop is ideal for families and children ages 4-17.
