Sango Tajima

Sango is a Japanese-American performer, writer, and arts & culture administrator.

Born in Michigan and raised in Thailand, Tanzania, Trinidad & Tobago, and Japan, she returned to the U.S. to pursue an education and career in the arts.

Prior to joining the Betti Ono Foundation, Sango was a Co-Artistic Leader of Ragged Wing Ensemble and The Flight Deck, where she also served as Administrative & Grants Manager, Video Coordinator, and Core Artist.
